Thanks to 4-H and the Friends of NRA we offer a shotgun shooting sports program for 10 - 18 year old youths. The program is open to all that meet age and other requirements below. The youth participate in Skeet Trap & Sporting Clays two days per month, March through August. Each year the best shooters have the opportunity to participate in Pennsylvania State Achievement Days. The achievement days are an annual event held at Penn State College over a 3-day period. The best shooters compete against the best from all over PA. The best shooter from PA is invited to compete on a national level at the National Achievement Days.
The prerequisite for members of our program is successful completion of a hunters safety course. New members must also complete 2 two-hour safety course before participating in any shooting. Returning members must complete a two-hour safety course. Members are encouraged to bring their own shotgun. If the member does not have access to a shotgun a loaner shotgun is available thanks to past grants from the Friends of the NRA.

Our archery program is open to everyone ages 8 to 18. Youth of all experience levels are welcome. We do have some equipment for youth who are interested however do not have their own equipment.
